well, as some of the bros here will now. i also got played out. today (officially).
been hunting for WATCH A for quite sometime ("grail"), hard to find and rare. so decided to get WATCH B instead at budget X.
like 1 day before i pulled the trigger on WATCH B, WATCH A appeared! contacted SELLER A to discuss price, confirmed at price >X. getting anxious and excited, i did all i could to raise that extra cash for WATCH A, sold shares at loss etc. after waiting for 4 days, finally dealing day. (many confirmations from SELLER A in-between).
2 hours before dealing time, SELLER A calls to say cancel appointment because not free.
next 3 days, SELLER A didn't answer calls or reply SMSes. totally uncontactable.
FINALLY TODAY: "sorry. watch withdrawn."
moral of the story. don't be too excited or eager. lesson learnt.

btw, SELLER A, if ure reading this, as i told u, i respect ur decision. but please don't do stuff like that again. i can take it that my losses and inconveniences are due to my over eagerness. but these can be avoided with better communication on your part. no hard feelings.
