Count me in for the forum watch! Debaufre 44mm or 48mm is ok with me. My only concern is the lume and warranty. Anyway, I don't like the look of the bernhardt globemaster... Too small to my liking...

    Regards,
    Jay

Agreed that the bigger watches look good, but I voted for the globemaster, why? Coz this is a Rolex forum, and I'll like to get something that reminds me of the forum. Those two watches, IMHO, have got no special significant to Rolex.

On the other hand, the globemaster is quite representative of two of the iconic watches that launched Rolex. The submariner (waterproof watch), and the GMT.

        So that's my humble opinion.

        Happy voting everyone!

Just read a review of the Globemaster.. I think it is a perfect watch for SG-ROC...

                    http://www.rolexreferencepage.com/Gl...obemaster.html

obviously not only is its functionality is good, its price is also good.... not too hig and not too low... (not sure abt its price now or including customisation though)

I kind of like the Pepsi bezel with the GMT markers. But then, the one on the front page also combines both the dive-time bezel with the GMT function. Hmm. But still, the Pepsi look is cooler!

I suppose most of you didnt read the first page... so here's the latest update:

                            Updates 3-9-08:
It has been a pretty interesting week... A few very reputable watch manufacturers (renowned worldwide) have expressed an interest in the manufacturing of this watch. However, costs will at least be in the region of 1-2k for a basic model..... What do you think?

I think if the watch that is going to be produced is unique to here (not talking about just engraving or labelling sg-roc somewhere on the watch) the cost should justify ? my 2 cents ... Maybe a "forum project" will be an easier task as compared to a "forum watch" as the name implies, for starters.
