saw this late..
i was trying the whole of yesterday as well. tried IE, FF, Safari, all can't log me in to main page too..Comment

ask him to clear his cache and cookies on all the browser and try again
happenend to me once on my iphone when i access the forum through my iphone in china...
came back still can't log in. was suggested this method by a friend and was able to log in againComment
