Some weeks ago, I placed an order for a Vertu Ascent 2010. It was due for arrival this week. But apparently it was DOA, the SA couldn't turn it on, and I'll have to wait for another 6-8 weeks for them to send me a new set. After some to and fro, I decided to settle for a full payment of my deposit.

Rather disappointed with Vertu.. that their phones could actually be DOA.. guess their QC not exactly as top notch as should be expected, given the ridiculous premium.

be grateful that they didnt ask you to come in to collect a DOA unit. Happened to me before (not vertu obviously) and its damn annoying.
