  • Worst Online Buyer Ive Met

hi guys, recently while trying to sell my Hp on vr zone and hwz, i came across a person which i believe is the worst ive met so far, he used a tactic *which i see thru* to bargain for below market price of my phone.
    how it's as described:

    - contact me and quote a reasonable price for the phone, agree to deal on a particular day too.

    - went missing on that deal day, and later at night reply that he just returned from JB. again agree to meet u another day.

    - on the day of deal, *when i'm already on the way* last min msg u that he got a very low offer for the same set u have, wants u to sell him at that price too.

    - if i dun agree or call him, he refused to pick up or reply my msg too. so forcing me to make a waste trip, or sell him at his price *at this pt i already know i had been played, bt inorder to see the ass that played me out, i 'agreed' to his terms*

    - upon reaching the mrt control where we r suppossed to meet, keep finding excuses to make me come to him, like 'q for atm is very long, he just left mrt la, finally i managed to persuade him to come to a particular exit where we can 'deal'

    - tells me actually phone is buying for *uncle* or *father*, and his hp is battery low, gonna flat now, so he gave another no and contact me from there.

    - and his first no that he use initially is 'dead'.

    - he finally appeared and meet me, ask me go a corner where no camera is on us, check the phone, at last complained that phone condition is not gd, and 'call' his nephew for an explanation *of cos cant get thru as they r all the same person*

    - and finally bargained for another price.

    - i walked away this moment without even looking at him as im really disgusted by his personality and didnt wanna act anymore

    - i posted his actions and number on both forum to alert everyone

    - turns out he is a regular that always low ball, and fly aeroplane

    - the day after i alert the forum, i again got 2 offers from 2 different no, all very low baller price for my phone, which i strongly believe its him. *as the way he speak in the sms is similar*

thanks for reading my long post everyone, hope to clear some doubts here.

am i breaking the law when i display his number for everyone to see?
is there any way i can do to check his hp number and get his particulars?

maybe dont post his full phone number; but the last 4 digits.

i dont think you will be able to do a reverse check on his HP number unless you know someone who works in all 3 telcos.

you shld play along (the new numbers)...agree to meet "him" again at the place he wants u to meet...when the time comes, sms him say you're late...stuck in mrt traffic or atm....ask him to give you another half hour...half hour later, let him sms u...and dun reply....if want to continue to play him....sms him again say sorry u forgot to bring the earpiece/accessories...u want to go back and take...meet at a later time on that day..apologize profusely and say will give him another $20 discount cos u feel so bad for him to wait for u..as a compensation him for his petrol and time...then play him out again...

I will usually ask the buyer to meet me at my nearby place and at my convenience if I'm selling stuff.
Low baller will simply be ignored. Having to meet buyer at their convenience, will tense to make you wanna sell off your stuff at low low price cos you don't wanna go another wasted trip. 2Cents worth: If buyer bargain w/o even viewing the product are definitely or perhaps trying their luck and may not even deal when u agreed to their price.

I kena ppl wanting to buy my watches asking me questions like..............

can u tell me how many turns you turn the crown to lock tight?

for your pam 311, when your power reserve stopped is it exactly 8 days gone and the seconds hand is it stop at 12?

your vintage watch comes with spares? wat if i buy your watch and future cannot find parts?

how many turns u fully wind your manual pam to full n hit the stop?

There is just too many cute funny ppl around this world asking weird questions. So bro just get over it, no point angry with ppl like this.

i also find it weird when pple asked me how much i paid for the watch...is seller obliged to reveal and what's the relevance between the price one paid vs the current price of the same model? how to remember when the watch is discontinued and bought years ago?

i'm curious ...do you guys reveal the prices you paid for the watch?

hell no, you arent obliged to reveal how much you paid for a watch.

recently i was offered a certain watch for A$X. What the owner paid doesnt make a difference to me. If the seller was lucky enough to pay A$X - $2,800 then good luck to him.
