    yep; i have one cousin in tokyo. she was in sendai a few days ago.

    according to her; no food - shops closed; limited communications; some minor tremors in tokyo at the moment.

      It must have affected Geneva, Switzerland too as I just received an email informing me that my watch is being delayed a further few months because of some "complications" during the manufacture (??)

        I felt sad to hear that Japan is in great distress due to the earthquake and tsunami....i was at tokyo about 2 weeks back with my entire family....

        Very nice country and people there....

        Hope everything goes on well with the rescue efforts....

          Japan is still my fav destination, hope that things will turn out right for them. Thank goddness singapore is spared from these calamities... must be grateful....
