  • Which bank offers quite good rates for

    savings account? Me trying to divert money into several banks..u know MAS only guarantee 20k in case a bank goes down.. how ah?

    also..which foreign currency is good for keeping as fixed deposit? thanks bros..

    but I think Chinese Yuan will appreciate more in future....

      chinese yuan not for trading leh..put one stack at home?

        I think euro is too high now... if it goes higher, many euro companies like benz, rolex, etc will face problems exporting their goods as price is less competitive than other countries...

          euro is currently price at 2.08 vs SGD..lowest u ever seen in recent years is how much?

            It could go down to 1 euro to US$1.4 soon...

            but you need to check out what is the interest rate the bank is paying you...

                    saving account interest rate is low in s'pore, less then 0.5%. However, there's one saving plan from POSB/ DBS, call MYSAVINGS account, work something like SAYE, and give higher interest rate compare then normal saving. I just open 1 recently. Do take note there's some terms and condition, so call them up to understand more.

                      Seem like you have quite alot of money to hide in your bank

                      Hehehe...aiyah..convert all to watches lor...but Rolexes and rent a safe deposit box...or you can put it in a 500kg safe in your house hehe
