Is it really effective?

Just like how watch companies managed to "con" us to part with tens of thousands of $$ for a watch thru clever marketing too. Everybody is trying to sell somebody something in this world.

i wont quite liken a power bracelet to a luxury watch ad. im not sure rolex has made any claims regarding lifestyle.

trying to sell something is not wrong; but making ludicrous claims (even borderline impossible) seems to be getting out of line.

it actually lowers the perception and image of the person wearing it and results in the person being treated with disdain and condescence...because everyone else knows that the product is overpriced, and ineffective, that person is a carrot head to chop.
