What do you think of Singapore's performance at the Olympics so far?

So far their performance at best is being there and participated. Hopefully the ping pong team can pick something up. The men's and ladies teams seem to have breeze through to the next round beating Canada and USA respectively. Hopefully...............

i mean some like tao li have really done well and their efforts shld be recognised and rewarded accordingly. but it's not like the achievers are born and bred singaporeans?

pls la... so how much we paid Tao Li to swim for us? you think without proper training provided by SG she can achieve this all by herself?
what Tao Li done could be done by some other swimmers?? for example?? how about you go try? no need go olympic, go National Age Grp and go swim with the kids....
remember this when 1 finger points outward, the other 4 are pointing inward........

pingpong, I think what Nooch meant is what MOST Singaporeans want is a locally-born Singaporean to fight for a medal for us...
I admitted that Tao Li has achieved a lot for us Singaporean but these people have been training since they were like 3, 4 (?) years old... so the so-called proper training by SG is really nothing...
So I think what we should do now is to spot young talent from kindergardens and put them in our sport school and train them from day to night and from night to day....
until one day these young children become champion and win a medal for us, EVERYONE will be happy loh...
