do not really support the idea as the thin layer of gold on your watch may corrode due to friction and scratches plus the electroplated gold on your watch may not look as gold compared to those solid gold
well, I was thinking it will be like pvd-ing ..... .....
n give a old watch new life !
Haha Bro, then might as well PVD it. It'll look better on a young guy like you : )

I know, I know I will make a pvd watch look good but its a old dressy watch. Too funky if its pvd-ed
Happy Bunny Year bro!
A client some times back "golded" his pam (thats what he told me) but I didnt ask much then ...... it looks pretty good though and thats why got this idea
Elecroplating can be done. But the work would be costly, not to mention the risk of damaging your original parts as the watch has to be stripped before plating.
Eg. Movement/crystal stripped out of case, crown and stem seperated, bezel parts removed, bracelet preferably stripped down to individual pieces for uniformity.
From there, the parts can be EPed to the thickness you require. More passes = more cost.
My take: Use the EP cost for your next watch would be more worth it.
