The china carbon is ok. No major problem. Just need to figure out the cable routings and clean out the residues in the bottom bracket threads. Selected matt finish with 3k weave. You can check at this online store velobuildmall.com

Haha, those days to build a good road bike there are only a few shops like fumaysin, heap hong, soon watt (kleins that were hand made in USA)

Nice classic bike with down tube shifters.

now that shifters are on brake levers, when i ride this bike, feels strange having bend lower to shift gears.

anyway, i kept the aero brakes aside and the bottle holder.

am i the only person on the forum that (still) prefers a steel frame?

my regular ride is a no-brand steel frame (made somewhere in italy) i bought in malaysia. old cervelo rims + old shimano duraace... no battery needed. my look pedals are probably over 15 years old.

Regardless of frame material... most important is enjoying the ride and freedom it provides

i am currently looking to custom make a stainless steel frame. not sure to go columbus or kva tubing.

will be going for a bike fit next week hopefully. after that will decide what frame geometry to use.
