I think it depends on which country that you are going...

if developing country, it may be safer to wear gshock or seiko or casio?

Depends on the country, for japan and HK usually the IWC Top Gun.

If Asean countries, likely the G Shock or Seiko Bar Honda. Scare kenna rob..LOL
