normally i will cook on v day or she cook on v day.
flower is a must. then before v day, we will say what we want in general terms.

like if she say "wallet", then i will go n find the brand n design myself. same goes to me. eg. shoes, wallet, jacket, watch.
can try using this method. both of you go orchard, then say something general. spilt your way to buy n meet up later.

Bro cedric, no I don't give frequent gifts. Only on special occasions (birthday, anniv and valentine)... thanks for the suggestion. Trip is already planned for March...

It's that headache time of the year again. I always have trouble finding what to get for my partner during Valentine's day. Can give me some suggestions? Something unique (not chocolate or flowers as I have given her those two almost every year). Not watch or bag definitely though as she will demand more during her birthday later this year.

              Help please...

I would assume your gal like chocolate since u gave her almost every year. As for something unique? Mmmmmm.......... have u try to take up a course to learn how to make chocolate by yourself, and then surprise her with your chocolate making skill? I would assume gals would appreciate the effort more than the gift itself.
If you are still dating her, perhaps u can give her a bigger surprise by proposing to her during the V. day? ;-)

I tried making my own chocolates previously and my gf(now wife to be) loved it. Dun taste exceptionally good but its the effort I supposed. Your gf will like anything as long as its from you. The thought is more important.

No worries lah. Easy thing to do. I went to the shop to purchase the chocolates, whats left is just to melt the chocolates and shape it into the shape you want and decorate it. Cannot be just melting the chocolates and reshaping it will cause tummy ache mah. Again, its the thought that count.

I beg to correct your definition.

A Rolex is not a watch. A watch is a $10 instrument which measures the time - simply because nobody would spend go beyond the norms for something called a watch, there has to be something instrinically more within that commands its value...

It is a treasure meant to last for all eternity, if any, its a sacrifice of the highest order to one's loved ones & it measures the essense of time, something priceless. The person who purchases it recognises the value of time, and would accord nothing but the highest respect and accolade towards the measure of time.

                        Cheers and Happy New Year

hahaha bro Oceanklassik, I think bro Mille is a hardcore Rolex enthusiast.

To me, Rolex is a fine watch. Have to say that I am not as hardcore enthusiast as most of our bros out here

I think I have figured out what I will get for her. I will share with you guys when I have received the item hehe.

Happy Chinese New Year to all as well.
