Becoz for me personally, if i buy a watch and after a while i suddenly have lack of interest in the piece i simply sell at a massive loss just to have the timepiece to go to a good home...
I hate too see my watches sitting there with no love for them..

i thought so sales here in SG we sell very straight forward, hand shake, take a seat, small talk, box opening, check watch, tally numbers on the book/card/certificate payment (prices usually confirmed via sms/email) handshake deal done walkaway a happy man.
We all know once exchange hands no return cos too much possible complications. Not to mention we are talking about time pieces value over 10k or more.

To me, all i can think of partial refund...what else?
I will be keen in getting your 233 and/or 55. 6 months later (or eariler) I sure SMS. "watch not right and I want partial refund (min $5k)".

I don't think by giving partial refund, you're admitting it... but the problem is your partial is how partial? 80%? 50%? ... I think it will be hard for both parties to agree with one %...
I think you will end up ignoring this buyer... it is not your fault bro...

So far other than bro Jarren whom i sold him the sub (we met up at McDonald, tea on him. Chatted till Mac closed shop) No buyer/trader i dare to challenge had bad experience with me. I sold/traded many watches, seiko to AP (lowest to highest) never a problem.
Most buyers became my friends,buddies...except this one who traded with me. Text ed me about the watch he traded with me after more than 6 months,i even replied him jokingly "bro you got a rare variation!",than follow by my next text message advising him to double check again with the SC. Got to be typo error on the movt nos. Than no sound no picture....afew months before this incident he texted me the watch has this problem, something broke. He was honest enough to admit was himself broke it. I recommended him to JW to have it check and service. (i cannot remember what exactly was the problem) Watch serviced and aokay...
buddy i was just curious what it takes to be a "pleasant" seller?

Why i always tell the buyer pls take a seat, take your time to look/inspect use a loupe if you like to. No obligations at all,no need paiseh if no buy. But buy me a cuppa of tea or kopi if you paiseh..
Some fellow bros know my style, even my clients...
I'm shock too!!! Not difficult to know which piece cos i'm seeing it keep surfacing at the resale market. LOL buddy,of cos you know him lah! That dude who told you he paid the strap for $140 LOL...
i don't open watch shop that can offer exchange/refund policy, and definitely cannot warrant the watch. I think i shld start to issue official receipt with 貨物出門,恕不退換!I can resist anything but temptation. - Oscar Wilde
