I hate too see my watches sitting there with no love for them..

Well said ! That's one reason we flipped watches, isn't it?

I think the rule of thumb is that once the deal is completed and watch physically changes hand, the seller has the right to not entertain any claim of scratches/dings/damages on the watch or claim of watch being non-authentic, unless there is prior agreement that the buyer is allowed to come back by certain time for those mentioned issues. Such agreement is not common though, and usually takes place only if the buyer and seller know each other quite well (i.e. experienced seller and his regular buyer).

Otherwise the seller can always say: "How do I know what happened to the watch within that few days (or hours) during when in the ownership of you (the buyer)?"

Which is also why the common practice is that any authentification, if required by the buyer, is usually carried out at the service centre with the present of both buyer and seller prior to the deal.

Very correct ! The right communication is important.

i won't even entertain him...there's no such things as seller coming back after so many months and demand a refund or etc.

bro James, i guess i was just too easy...i some more replied him via sms telling him must have been the SC typo errors. How can another watch's movt housed in this sub...dun make sense to me at all. If it's a rep movt than it all make sense, someone muz have swapped away the gen movt.

Why i always tell the buyer pls take a seat, take your time to look/inspect use a loupe if you like to. No obligations at all,no need paiseh if no buy. But buy me a cuppa of tea or kopi if you paiseh..

Some fellow bros know my style, even my clients...

i don't open watch shop that can offer exchange/refund policy, and definitely cannot warrant the watch. I think i shld start to issue official receipt with 貨物出門,恕不退換!

Ok. Just a lilttle curious. Why need to open case? It's a see through and the JLC MC 8-day movement can clearly be seen and recognised. Not likely to find fakes on this model.

I clarify 1st. bro Louie never sell me fake stuffs and we never deal with such stuffs bro kuchingku case was opened up to see but can't find anything wrong with it. Not because the watch is fake Ya bro Louie u r correct. I stated it is serviced but in actual facts it was not. Ppl who pm or SMS me expressing interests got asked me where it was serviced at n I got clearly tell them it was intended to service but was not. point of time when the AD is been put up, the watch was with my friends. It still keeping good time n if really got serviced I will have to produce invoice to prove it. also bro Louie got advised me if really wanna service, bring to richmont cause outside ppl might not be skilled to do it. To prevent unnecessary issues, I will put up a reply to my sales thread to say it was not serviced

Case opened up to see? I always thought Pam 190 have a see thru back case...
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak

Courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen
