    i just got a quote for gsm dialler for my alarm system A$550 installed. am considering getting one; else i believe i can always tap into my existing landline.

      yes, you can tap your existing land line. what i suggest is use one for home calls if there is a demand. another one for internet. then tap either one. if you use land line for all 3 purpose. there could be conflicting consequences.
