Tods makes really comfortable shoes. Tried a few brands already, most are either not very comfortable or don't last very long. Currently experimenting with shoes bought from Europe that use Italian leather - soft and breathable.

I have TODS, Bottega Veneta, Salvatore Ferragamo and Bally. I would say TODS & Ferragamo are the most comfortable among them followed by Bottega and Bally last. I've always been eyeing a pair of LV loafers but like other forumers said, they are definitely way overpriced. A good $200 at least more ex than TODS/Bottega.Current:
Rolex Submariner 116613LB Sunburst Dial
Rolex Yachtmaster 116622 Blue Dial
Rolex GMT-Master II 16710 'Coke' Z-series
Tudor Pelagos Blue 25600TB

Aviator Poljot Black 45mm
Corniche Heritage 40

My 2 cents worth on this topic.
If you're buying a watch, you would buy one from a reputable watch making company, or at least a company that at least specializes in watches. Would you buy an expensive watch from Oakleys or Ray Ban just because they make good eyewear?
Same for shoes. Some of companies marketing shoes are fashion/apparel brands, because it makes sense to do so - shoes form part of a person's wardrobe. However, as with the clothes you wear, your shoes must be comfortable. How well would a pair of shoes made by a fashion/apparel company serve you if it bites your feet or gives you blisters, despite the high price that is mainly attributed to the branding?
It is important to have a good fitting and comfortable pair of shoes because if you don't, you will suffer - your feet will ache, the shock transferred from your feet as you take steps, to your lower body all the way up the spine could affect your back and posture. That would be an extremely high price to pay for a pricely pair of shoes (pun intended )
For me, comfort and shock absorption is crucial. My leather shoes are Johnston Murphy, Cole Haan (which Nike has acquired and incorporated its Air Sole technology into some of the Cole Haan line), Rockport, Hush Puppies, Florsheim. I would like to try Allen Edmonds, but I am not willing to order online as I don't want to risk getting the wrong size/fit.
Don't chase the brand/fashion, focus on the purpose.

For me and only my two cent worth of opinion...A branded Shoe had to feel comfortable and that BRAND had to be on the shoes..if the brand is not there to be honest I will not wanna buy it....to me its like buying rolex without the crown and buying Benz without the logo or eating Char Kway Teow without the Hum..lolz
So here's my humble pair of shoes...
