Hopefully, Singapore's very remote chance of smelling a medal, it shud be the imported female table tennis team, will be happier if winner is true blue Singaporean.

i think the aussies got quite a good chance in swimming dep't , but who knows what will come, once the event started

to me, imports dun count no matter how many medals they win. only uncle how liang will be the true medallist.

i m only eyeing on michael phelps matching the achievements of spitz.

Maybe Singapore needs to do a "truely asia" stunt and wake up.... for those who didnt know, yesterdays news stated that M'sia will reject all foreign imports for its local soccer league so as to improve the countries standard.

With all the FTs coming in as PR and representing Singapore... IMO, i rather see a locally born lad holding the Singapore flag high up with pride... rather than a FT playing for $...

If they want to 'buy' medals.... why not just pay big bucks and get all the top athletics... maybe we can have the USA's dream team representing Singapore..

There's a Discovery program on the Olympic and how different countries trained their sportsman.

I was amazed at how they integrate technologies in their training and their vision towards the goal.

Believed China will bag the most gold this time. Looking forward to the basketball match.
