  • Good/better deals to sell

    Hi,

Is there anyone who has experience in selling their watch(es) to pre-own dealers? What are the steps/procedures involved? Are there any good pre-own dealers who are known to give better prices? How different is it in terms of price and risk, if you leave your watch in the shop to let then sell for you instead of selling it to them directly?

    Appreciate advice. Thank you.

    try asking wolfeyes.

i think standard procedures are providing as much details as you can to the preown dealers. they will take down your IC number in case the watch is found to be stolen/ fake/ etc.

most preown shops will quote roughly the same price. differences usually not more than couple of hundred due to operating costs.

leaving your watch for the preown dealer is like consignment. some preown dealers allow, some dont depending on relationship. usually for consignment basis, u need to let them know what is the base price you looking it. how much they can sell then will be their profit. if your asking price is high then their profit is thin, they might not want to do it for u.

No such thing as "BEST" place to buy or sell watches...coz prices are controlled the range won't go out of 100-200.

IF you dun include Chin Kwee in that..coz they take in very low
