  • How many rolex does a household own?

we can safely say that almost every household owns at least 1 TV/computer..

i wonder if it's 98% accurate to say almost all SGROC members' household or households in SG own at least a rolex (parents/wife/kids/sister/brothers)? While a rolex watch is a luxury as we all know it, i can't help but suspect that it may now become a "necessity" for most household in SG? rolex seems to be everywhere...

Let's see how many rolex does a household have:

Mine - 3 of us so 3 in total

    cheers

      my household = 6 pcs

definitely agree that rolex is almost a necessity in sg; not to mention the amount of people with multiple models either in just rolex or in other brands too.

me 1, wife 1 & that makes 2. Son too young to own 1 just like bro pegasi. I'm not sure if owning a Rolex is "necessity" in sg, but personally I think owing one is part of self-acutalization or perhaps you called it a sense of achievement to obtained a fine watch... What about the rest out there?

I do not think so, James. Because sometimes, I think when we are too into watches, we tend to envisage that many out there, too, own luxury watches, or ROLEX watches. In my own circle of friends, family and relatives, colleagues, acquaintances, etc (of course except for my friends here ), at least 90% do not own any luxury watch(es); 5% do not wear/dislike to wear a watch; and the balance 5% who are into branded/luxury watches own any other watch brands except ROLEX !

Can those without any Rolex in the household also drop a note here, so that we have a more realistic picture?

I see a very contradicting statement here. So you are asking this question in a ROLEX watch forum and hoping to get a 'more realistic picture' ... ?!
