On a more serious note (after my singing)...
While I sympathise with those who want/need a car but can no longer afford one with the current COE price, as well as those in the car business whom job got affected, I am quite glad that the COE quota has finally been reduced...for selfish reason. I have been whining to my wife for the past 3 years or so that there are too many cars on the road as a result of too many (and cheap) COE...Watches are like potato chips - You never stop at one

It also depends on how many are scraped. But with the current situation, most folks would not scrap and hold on to their cars. So I dun think it would help much.
