Cannot tahan liao just saw this ad Patek aquanaut for sale $7350 sin dollars. how come so cheap? is even limited edition you know. called jw say sold already. is it for real or just gimmicks?
dealers should know the market price of watches better than all us wat.
has anyone from this forum bought the watch at this price? or is it wrong pricing again like watchlink?

so the watch is for real. very nice watch, i wish to get it for my wife xmas present. but sold liao, as mr toffeethings said need to pay gst? i have a friend who freguent jwwatch say if no need receipt and pay cash can skip the gst part.
i always thought the aquanaut price is more than $10k sin dollar ? well anyway is sold. wait for next time la. will prepare to camp overnight if can get nice yet cheap watch. heeeee.

still very curious on tis watch so i google search for the specs and the history and found is made in 1998, 1st gen aquanaut, 1000 pieces, smallest, price varies from US$5000 upwards depends on conditions, new or pre-own, box and warranty card. rubber strap cut or not.

my 2cent view.. actually almost 8k for a pp and some more is the hot model for sure ppl will WHAO!! but there are few thing we have to understand, 1st this is a rubber piece after buy most of us will need to get a new rubber change those who are lucky is for the time being only, as how long u can still wear it? have been so many year already overall. lastly is last time patek was CHEAP, now easily 20-30k at least. last time if i not wrong the seller that sell to jw may pay abt 10k only, now 10k u walk into shop and ask for a pp, i believe the saleman will look at u.. jw selling $7864 aft gst then how much they eat in? 6k-6.5k ba i guess, u really think the seller is a nut? what we can only say is jw was a real honest shop unlike some shop at "l_c_y pl_z_"............ one more point to add, red sub last time in retail shop was selling abt 3k++ still no one want it

Some truth there. But last time Paul Newman daytona also only less than 2k. If anyone offers me a piece at 20k, I will be there in 15 mins. Not all things can use this analogy. Remember watches, like wine and art pieces are not valued by their material cost.
