Yes, I was thinking the other day. The owners of Audi and Volkswagen will need to really take care of their car. Every car maker be it Japan, Korean or Europe, will need to change suspension, camber kit, bushing, engine mounting, belt, water pump, fuel filter, transmission filter and etc.. after 5-6 years. Imagine the cost of replacing it for a Audi, Volkswagen, and etc. these are expensive luxury European car to begin with. Their parts are not cheap. The lead time is long too. Time to really go slow with the hump.
    I own a Rolex !

Only the "garmen" benefit from all this... the one who reduced the COE number will get a very fat performance bonus this year.. hahaha KPI met but at expense of car salesmen (many left this industry)

Although, i like cars, i much prefer a old (but decent) car, so that i can bash it about .

parts not cheap nevermind, europeans tend to utilise specialised tools/diagnosis making it more difficult to DIY repairs. one of the criteria for me when buying a car, is spare parts availability and whether i can get a service manual with relative ease.
