  • Glaring grumble

Often looking through my rear view mirrors, there will be car behind with head lights like high beam. Whether it's regular head lights or HID lights.

It's even more glaring from the front when making turns.

It can be from vans, suv, cars, sports car. What happen to their mechanic!!!

Worst some even on their fog light!!! Singapore road very dim???

TP never need to use rear mirror and only see tail of vehicles?

Lorries are the ones that i encountered with super bright lights ...esp the 24footers..and trailers...the rest not too much of an issue...i seldom look at rear mirror unless overtaking or if anyone horn at me...

That's what my dad always complain when the cars are using their head light too much.

IMO , its those cars, lorry fitted with aftermarket HID lights .
Factory HID will have a auto leveling kind of features , whereas aftermarket ones are usually out of focus .
Therefore we always thought they are using high beams .
Even if its SUV , with original HID , it wont be glaring cos the auto leveling sensors will sense if the car is loaded or not thus auto adjust the height of the headlamps .
If wanna go aftermarket , at least must have the courtesy to get a mech to align it properly .
I hate those aftermarket HID ............

I have learned that it's illegal in SG to install aftermarket HID lights on your car unless the car originally come with HID lights. So why so many cars on the road got aftermarket HID lights?
