when my dad first arrive in Oz, he went into a gun shop and asked to buy a gun the guy just stare at him as if he was because my dad thought got gun on display mean can buy , didnt know need license

like you i also dislike cleaning a rifle, but it is part of self discipline you need to understand that a gun is like a car

you drive the car, you check the tyre, engine oil, coolant fluid, etc. the same applies to the gun, and as such there is nothing much we can do.

When i was younger and used bike as my primary mode of transport, i checked my tyre, brake pads, chain gears, oiling etc every week. not because i wanted to, but because it was required to keep my bike in 100% working order

Interesting things huh...does romping with the ATC counted? Just joking, I'm a decent boy back then...

The stay in RSAF is quite enriching, got to travel to other countries for detachment, and get paid (around $80/day) at the same time. Bitter or sweet time, it's all part of NS memories..

I always help the amourer load the 30mm into the link feed. The ammo can is freaking heavy.
