I've actually made an unplanned trip on the first day evening when the rain was pouring. Thought the crowd size should be 'dampened' by the wet weather, and how true it was. There was little crowd and walking around was a breeze, at least until after 8pm when people started streaming in after dinner hours. Still not too bad though.
Sitex, it seemed to me, was very "funan centre" to me, as majority were selling mainly IT stuff. Not many of household electronics such as TVs, fridges, others. Many, many laptops, net/notebooks, external hard disk drives, PC accessories, etc. Even desktops were far and few. As usual I had no intention to make any purchase, especially since I made some hefty purchases on IT products days before Sitex commenced. But well ...
I was more to help some friends check out stuff and help them with their shopping options for the rest of what's left in Sitex. The deals were so-so only and most of the prices were similar to what you can get outside on a normal day. Except maybe only the additional freebies, which IMHO, not much worthy. Of course, for anyone who's about to get those laptops for yourselves, and/or love ones, I think it is worth the try.
Have a busy and fruitful weekend
