              i believe if building from scratch, the process will be more lengthy and difficult...

                    I don't have any LV belt. Sorry. Most of my belts come from pasar malam stalls..

                      i had thoughts of using my old and used monogram LV wallet but i doubt will have enough material to go along.. haha

                        The problem of using modern belt is most nowadays use synthethic material (fake leather), or a thin genuine leather with non-leather "fillers" in between.

                        If you buy the inexpensive all genuine leather belts from Bugis, it's very thick and stiff (he..he..), and need special tool to scrape it thinner for the fold-over part.

                        Finished, soft, all-leather belts are NOT cheap.

                        So for fun, can try for sure, but otherwise better off buying from TheWatchBoys or other inexpensive strap makers, imho...
