Jap mechanical i cannot help. Sorry. Since I do not have any model with that at the moment.

Honestly, not possible to do a totally new model/watch(case, dial, hands) for a forum watch. We will just have to play around with existing models. Unless we have a quantity of say 500pcs or more.

$300 plus for CHINA made Cali MM is almost extortion liao. If its US made then the cost incurred will justify the selling price with minimal markup. C'mon guys.. the world is so big.. not everything must come from CHINA

If you guys are interested in US cali / arabic custom SGROC forum watch, perhaps i can do something.

What are the specs of a US made watch? (I understand that there are generally a few sources of movements, chinese, swiss, japanese, russian and german but have never heard of US?)

just a thought.. the Cali dial Kampfschwimmer style is really cool and i'm sure i'll be queueing for one if we really do settle on that... but every time i look at it, it just tends to scream "Panerai" at me rather than "Rolex"..

a forum watch is cool but some members have voiced concerns over cost and quality

at the end of the day, you get what you pay for lor..

we need someone to step up and come up with a quotation of sorts, perhaps 100 pieces L.E of course

preferably rolex related as this is a SG-ROC forum

I personally think a 6694 with a special dial or engraving somewhere is rather nice, best watch for cheap if know where to find one...
