I suppose I am in for this too... provided that we come up with a meaningful design (this to me means no franken rolexes or wilful redials on a proper rolex watch) and the cost reasonable...

It would however be hard for anyone to commit to anything without a design in mind...

How about a poll as to what kind of design we want this to be?

      1. Round Cased Dress Watch
      2. Square/Rectangular Cased Dress Watch
      3. Cushion Case Divers (Kampfswimmer)
      4. Sport Divers with Rotatable Bezel (GMTs, Subs, SD)
      5. Fixed Bezel sports Watch (Exp II)
      6. High dome glass bubble watches

Looking at cost effectiveness, I think options 2 and 3 are better. It is, I suppose, a fun watch than anything too klassy/strict. Just my thoughts.

IMO.. a simple design like the recent OEM "MMs" or customized options 2,3,4 would be nice also...

Are you guys looking into automatic or manual winding movement?

I think LE 100 piece would be more manageable....

Heh! Same thoughts about the recent MM20s and the quantity wise. I feel it is more meaningful to have it manual wind. Cost wise is more effective too?

We did a couple of club watches for other overseas watch forums.

So if you guys need any help, maybe I might be able to help out.

Are we setting up a poll ?

                      I would vote for 2:

                      Cushion Case Divers (Kampfswimmer)

I would go with option 2 as well...

Sterile california dial Kampfswimmer with a nice SG-ROC Logo engraved on the case back (maybe with a sapphire glass porthole to see the whachamacalit wheel thingy on the unitas handwind movement) + a nice high domed crystal..

Now budgetwise... I would say not more than $600?
