we need someone to step up and come up with a quotation of sorts, perhaps 100 pieces L.E of course
preferably rolex related as this is a SG-ROC forum
I personally think a 6694 with a special dial or engraving somewhere is rather nice, best watch for cheap if know where to find one...
Well we can don't bring it to RSC wad...

I really doubt that rolex will approve of its fan club creating an aftermarket dial and modifying its watches...
To do so is really like messing about with perfection... It would be a different thing if u can actually get rolex to manufacture a special dial for us (like the domino pizza, saudi king, pam am editions)...
I wouldn't mind something high end as long as its original (i.e manufactured by the brand itself)... not the dievas kampfswimmer as i already have a watch that look like it.... (BTW its 600 dollars on the website for the non DLC version - and I do think that DLC does not go well with the vintage look, but its probably just me)
I wonder what other brands we can get to manufacture for us.... Stowa is a possibility, although they are quite over-ordered.... Poljot? The radio room is really nice (in fact it was what inspired me to start this thread)... Sinn has been known to make special editions, tutima as well... I wouldnt mind Ocean 7 as well, they have been making really nice stuff, Batheys? Kobold?

I feel its a good suggestion. However, doing modifications on the caseback such as engraving... may possibly void the warranty... Would members be prepared to Void it?....*****************************

Maybe we can service outside rolex centre. Service at Rolex centre will cost a bomb especially vintage models.Rolex stainless steel daytona (black dial)

Hi Guys,
If you guys need a quotation, I rekon we can sit down and discuss about possibility and pricing.
Just give me a buzz if you guys need any help.
IMO, if you want to do a forum watch, better to do a good one with swiss movement and stuff. It will dampen the forum's name if you use sub-standard quality watches. No point doing a forum watch just for the sake of a forum watch.
Or if you guys wants Rolex, I have a suggestion and sample to show too. Its my own customized Rolex Submariner 14060M. Some of my customers might have seen me wearing.

triton bought up a good point in the forum about trying to have a rolex watch since it is a rolex forum.
of which i was considering, maybe we can start collecting older rolex watches and customise it with engraving on the back etc etcCurrently wearing:
