That is the worst thing in life man...can own it but can't wear it proudly. I would rather not buy at all.

There are weird people lah...on day 2 when my new boss took over when I was working in a foreign bank...he told me to change my watch. It was a dress down friday and I happen to be wearing a Submariner. He's nowhere near low avg income...just funny people around

if your boss is really petty as to care on what you wear, then the real question here is, do you want to be working for him? I mean unless you are wearing something that offends staff/customers, there really shouldnt be any barriers. Unless you get a few arse of a boss in that case, then you dont really have a choice.

when i meant offend staff/customers i was more aiming at clothing, not watches. i remember a friend in oz, wore those anti cop shirts , and susequently got randomly pulled over; needless to say, he got a defect notice. now they say the car was defective; but anyone with half a brain would know that the pigs was just exercising their power.
