Wow, you're still awake ah?! Anyways, well said Bro! It seems some AD staff act as if we're wasting their time, so might as well cultivate better friendships by buying from the Bros & Sis on this forum! The time spent more meaningful, the prices better, the characters met more interesting...but maybe less chio bu to see lah, some ADs got quite chio ones working there, haha...
ya loh...more fun. at least more sincere sellers
me yet to meet chio AD leh I heard the Ion IWC boutique got 1 chio bu....but moi ish don dare go in to bio
I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch.........
ha ha... sometimes nice guys got bullied... so next time bring a box of cash and bring along our bro Triton to "act" like your bodyguard, I am sure you will get good service....
Hhaha ok sure, next time I paste some sticker tatto and jio bro Triton go to watch shop hahahahaha
Experience a good service at THG Ion,the SA guy very friendly and explain detail and recommend new design. If you guys need a name, can PM me. Although he give no discount for the latest range, but defenetly for old model...yess discount..
...I think face is given by your own self not other ppl, if you wear a T-shirt and shorts and walk into a shop and act like a BIG BOSS, nobody will give your face... be polite, ppl will be polite to you.... cheers...
I think this could be one of the main reason why some salesperson ignore the customer.

I have friends who go to car dealership during their lunchtime to test drive for fun WITHOUT ANY INTENTION to buy or change car in the next 5yrs or so. Why waste saleman's time and it may even cost them a sale if they miss a serious buyer bcos of you test driving. Haizzz..
This reminds me of my past experience when I was a new car saleperson many years back.
There is this F***ER guy, came in and test drove all the models in my showroom for 3 hrs plus till closing without the intention of buying! Wasted my chances of serving potential buyers on a Sunday! B****DY wanted to punch his F*** face!

Don't return his driver license, say lost or something... ha ha...
Too bad the practice is always copy & rtn 1st.
Remember he was 40+ yrs old & still bring a lady along. Think cheapo dun wanna spend money on date so just try new cars for free. Can see the lady's face look damn sian.

Just wanted to check on your experince with the service in Cortina?
Reason for asking is cause I was at the Raffles City branch (Rolex Unit) yesterday to look for the watch I want, and the stuff who approach me was less then what I whould have expected from a high end shop.
To be honest I was wearing t-shirt & bermudas (just brought my kid for swimming lessions). But I still don't think that's reason for poor service.
Example of what was said to me:
Me: "Hi. I'm looking for a black face SS Daytona. Do you guys have any available?"
Him: "It's very expensive sir... it's selling at a premium price...."
Me: "Emm... ok but do you have a piece?"
Him: "It cost about $15,000+"
Me: "Do you have a piece?"
Finally he went to check and came back with a "sorry no stock".
Is this a one off incident or should I expect this all the time?
bro i dont think they meant to undermine you but it is always the worng or inappropriate CHOICE of words used in conversation. Just like housing agents or car dealers, most SA typically dont have strong command of language and vocabulary... yet it is not uncommon for them to experience many cases of very casually dressed cust making big purchases. if you communicate with them in Mandrain, situation will be very different.

Cortina service standard change? Was there on Tuesday, lol. A ah Beng SA serve me, quite well verse in his English command. Chatted a lot with him as he carry the same name as me. Was quoted a nice price for the green hulk though.
Personal experience, in my tshirt and bermudas, lousy service, almost non-existent. Totally different with THG though. In my same attire, I was given very good service
I have encounter such poor services countless times...maybe I have the poor man look...Sad to say that most of the sales assistant are Singaporean...the Chinese from mainland services are much better and also the Filipino sales assisitant working in most of the Jewellery shops...they are patient and willing to show me the full range of diamond rings. Btw, I'm wearing T-shirt and short.
