Ya, thats the one. David is a very nice guy. Agree they have very good memory, esp the wife. David the knowleadge, wife the PR skill-tact team.

Tried mens tradition before too, price prob cheaper but services are not as good.

Seiko - try Peninsula. The above 2 shops I mention all can make it one. Cater to diff budget. You want exp fabrics they have, cheap one (80-100) too.

      Me is short and broad
So off the rack long-sleeved shirts make me look like I'm auditioning for a chinese wayang production.
I get my shirts/ pants from Oxford, located at OUB Centre. Prices range from S$75-S$180 (shirts). Their range of material is so fantastic that even the fussiest can find something they like...

I usually get my shirts when I travel to London - get them from Saville Row, Cecil Gee, Moss Bros.

I find that the British are rather particular with their shirts, and find the fit good. Same for Charles Thrywitt. Thomas Pink.

Not true for first part. Maybe for second. If expensive goods give ill quality, then cheaper goods are DEFINITELY worse. As the Chinese saying goes, "yi fen qian, yi fen huo" (Eng: one cent value, one cent worth).

I only go for shirts that's easy to iron cause I iron my own clothes
I have a Raoul and DKNY but they're too troublesome to iron and crease easily so have been "beat into cold house" liao

so some extent you are correct. But I am guessing we have all bought our fair share of branded merchandise only to find a fault in them, but on the other hand, bought some noname merchandise and it works out ok.
One example: volvo - known for making cars, but the latest one, the car not so good quality. continious problems, somemore the agent tell us "like that one, only hear you complain"
