Hotel in Singapore?

So I'm going to be in Singapore for a few days in December.
Can anybody recommend me a decent hotel to stay at.

Purpose of the visit will be to go watch hunting and maybe have some other fun

I want it to be a decent place but don't want to be spending all my money on hotels instead of watches.
I'm assuming Singapore is small enough that location isn't that important?
Anything I should do while I'm in Singapore?

Bit higher: River view hotel (next to richemont service center) 180~

go for the Hotel 81 Chinatown,good location near orchard road,near town.alot of watch shop around too.

you can visit the casino. singapore flyer. among many other things.

if you want to buy from AD, head down to orchard road, takashimaya, lucky plaza, paragon, ion will probably have most of the brands you looking for.

if you want to go for preown rolex, people's park complex is another place you can consider. it is located just opposite hotel81 chinatown.

I've gone and booked Hotel Re, I think this is in Chinatown.

I'm after new watches from ADs, in particular the Rolex 14060M but might get tempted elsewhere.

Would 6500 be a realistic target to bargain for from an AD?

village landmark is located near bugis. room rates will be $180. it will cheaper for 2 persons. next door is golden landmark shopping where u can find several watch retail shops. Call me 93887888 when u arrived.

Very hard to say. The usual price after discount is around $6.8-$6.9k. To bargain to $6.5k, will take a lot of effort, and luck.

hmm Chinatown also a good place to hunt for other stuff





like bak kua, local delicacies, etc.............

btw, brand new watches at 6.5k you do have lots of choices. But I think probably hard to get for Rolexes. Alternatively, can meet up with the sellers in this forum
