but sadly it doesnt work that way for me.

As per what a famous director once mentioned in the movie "Money No Enuff",

"With 1k, I can only buy 1 thing. But with installment, I can buy many many thing"

I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch.........

I appreciate all who had polled and responded. What bothers me more is the big price margin between brand new and pre-own. If only I have the cash, I will get a pre-own set.

How nice it will be if I can get a pristine, original condition ROLEX Explorer II (white T25 dial), in full & original set, at $4,000 (or less), and preferably unnamed paper, from one owner only. And on top of that, allows me to pay in 12-months instalment .

Yes, I guess, but with interest rate of maybe 4%, 5% and/or 6%, subjected to length of installment.

I choose save up and buy preown. I would suggest looking beyond Singapore market to get your preown piece. Take advantage of low Euro/USD/Pound.

On the subject of PAM005, if you were to sell it as preowned and got yourself the Explorer II as preowned, you will be left with spare change

Pricing wise, preown 005 > preown Exp II (based on similar condition).

Personal opinion, do not buy on instalments... it's luxury on money you don't have... save until u can afford to buy it outright... also take it as a opportunity to reconsider.. something may come by which u may like more...
