i go HG, cash and cc price different. if mode of payment is cash, then it is as good as higher discount, usually about 3% more.

only reason why i can think of why the sales staff say no different is because want to meet sales target.

nowadays, even u go to some places, if i tell them cash, the price is lower than nets. unless the shop has a high volume of nets user than wu hua. furthermore, they cannot tell u use cash, slightly more discount. this is because they not suppose to do that. however, they will say cash and nets same cause can charge u 1% higher. every 100 dollar earn extra 1 dollar. why not.

actually, i dont think they will gv 3% off for cash, given that merchant rates are as follows:

usually around
Nets 1.6%
Visa/ MC 2.5%
Amex 3.1%

but usually depend on turnover etc. most can be bargain down
Nets . i think can get less thn 1%
Visa/ MC . i heard of less thn 1.5%
Amex 3.1% ( usually quite diff to bring down. but i believe they will depend on case to case basis).

so i doubt watch retailers will gv 3% discount when their charges are usally less thn 2% .

no lah, they usually will take yr particular down. they ask for your name address right ??

after tht, they send u thnk u letter n survey form.. i think they call it "customer experience contribution" .
