Upsizing or downsizing your collection?

Looks like most lao jiao down size while the sin jiao up size...blame it on the online trading forums hehe, cos b4, all my watches expensive or cheap I owned them for like 10 years or more, but after I "discovered" all these online forums and preowned shops I have been flipping watches and spending a lot more...

just curious....how many of you are upsizing or downsizing yr current collection?

i've sold 11 watches last year as part of my consolidation exercise...

i'm upsizing...with 4 more slots to go..my aim is to have 20 decent watches in my collection...fill up my 20 slots watch box...

My collection used to be around 20 pieces, but have downsized to 15. Would just wanna keep 6 or 7 cos so many watches & not even opportunity to wear them.

mine cannot even consider a collection.

Seikos and Casio ....... to wear occasionally ultimately probably wil pass to nephews and nieces

still want to have 2 watches.... a 14060m and a solid gold rolex (for whatever reasons, I don't remember, but in my heart, these two watches are Rolex evergreen.) ,,,,

in my mind,,,, i think can give all up for a PP aquatnaut/nautilius or an AP RO....

no up no down,,,,, for me : buy watch must wear, no wear no buy,,,,, when time comes, maybe someday will put up those without/little wrist time for auction for charity someday,,,,,, someday,,,,, not now,,,,,

I think I will be upsizing but at a much slower pace cos I want to place my focus on gold/white gold timepieces next year. As much as I want quality, I feel painful whenever the thought of letting go any pcs which I own currently to fund for the next incoming one. So, my collection will only go up. Dunno why recently keep looking at those gold watches, guess I am getting old liaoz
