Upsizing or downsizing your collection?

Hmmm. Seems like everyone is down sizing. So I guess prices of watches will drop if there's no demand? Lol

My collection neber up, not considering seiko alba casio tissot..., so cannot down much.

Always maintain stable number.
Not out of choice but out of bullets.

i would rather buy gold than buy watch should i have spare cash to 'throw'

Gold cannot wear on the wrist....use as paper weight? In good times, gold can drop to very low price.

Watch can wear but it can never be viewed as investment. Property is good but a sudden change in policy can have your life saving stuck for a long time. Many people still have not recovered from the last crashed.

So, keep if it makes you happy or use if that makes you happy. I have friends who spends almost nothing except tHe very basic and that makes them happy. Great. I also have friends who spends almost everything and is happy, cool too.

I am downsizing some and acquiring some. At the end, I think I need around 5 to 7. To buy new one, 1 must go.

All these years, I had been more of a "buy-and-hold" type of guy when it come to watches ... Finally got down to trying to 'downsize' and reduce my collection to fewer 'nicer' pieces over the past few months ... Had sold 10+ watches and added perhaps 4-5 pieces during this period. Will have to try to stay focused and hopefully halve the size of my collection by next year-end (?)

This one maybe not considered downsize but rather rebalancing of portfolio lol.
