It comes to a point, Watches...How many is enough?

The slow increase of price is like hdb. To ensure your watch holds value. When 10, 20, 30 years later you don't suffer as much lost. It also retains the brand value along with inflation. After all it's luxury goods.

How many watch needed? None.
Unless you don't have a phone, don't use pc, don't drive car, don't take train and people around you don't have watch to beo and you need a watch for work like special force.

i dont think it is chasing rolex alone, alot of other brands also increase their prices annually.

the hulk will be a regular production. list price is about 10200. currently sold @ premium. so why get it now? wait for awhile before buying. wait for the initial hype to slow down and there will be discount for the watch.

patience is virtue. thread title says it all - 'chase'. when you are chasing something, chances of you paying a higher price is always there. let the watch come to you. im sure by then, the price wont be that high.

remember that when you buy a watch, just have to be contend that you are paying the lowest price you can in the current market prices.

i can only contend that i got mine at a good price given the current market but i'm sure there'll be others who will get a better price eventually..

be patient guys...no doubt it's a moving target..that's also the fun part of most hobbies (cars, wines ad etc)...w/o them...life will be boring and we'll not have much to look forward to.. i'm just someone with not much patience so i'm prepared to pay slightly more...
