  • GMTIIc vs SUB c vs SUB LV c (And some say Teh-C)

well, the Sub C and Sub LV C had been available for a while now, just that i haven had the chance to actually see them in the metal.

Justr wondering, assuming there is no premium (Sub C and Sub LV of cos will be priced more expensive then GMTIIc), which would you guys choose and if possible, why?

I noticed that sales for GMTIIc is still going on (maybe cos no premum), but Sub C and Sub LV c's sales seem to be pretty stagnent and not many grey dealers are even bringing them in for sales.

ok rant fin, gg for teh C now

Sub LVc. The selling here is not strong is likely that even the grey dealer might not have stock. Most of the AD shd have only a piece each. Last check with WP, theirs is already sold. So I think have to wait for awhile before the ball start rolling...

ic. so its more due to stock shortages.

theres currently a few pieces in the garage. i guess no one is willing to pay that high a premium at the moment i guess.

hopefully, rolex churns out more of them and stablise the pricing.

Supply and demand rude apply. Once the supply over run the demand price will become stable, maybe can get discount just like GMTiic n Milguass GV.

Because it is less expensive (as compared to the new Sub)? Because it has an additional function (and still costs less expensive)?

                        You all very poetic le...

Personally I feel that the current (premium) prices of the Submariner C, be it the LV or standard version, are way too high. I remembered the GMTII C entered the market with a "BANG" too, like around $11k+, when it was only retailing at $9.5k+. Over time, the price got soft and some might have even got it a a discount. Private dealers are selling new ones @$8k+ now.

So this begs the questions: Are you willing to pay $10k (or above) for the new Submariner models? Say for example, you are asked to choose between a GMTII C and a Submariner C (black), both new, and priced equally, which is more worthy to acquire?
