AP should do it for free, or charge a nominal sum(unlikely to do so)..

this will turnoff people from AP and go for more deserving brands...

$1.2k for a rubber bezel, only from the F1 tyres which Schumacher has rode in...

why need to change rubber bezel, pushers and dial?

more impt is the cost of replacement to the cost of the watch.

take for example. my dad's rolex watch that was sent in about 5 years for a full complete overhaul. the watch was probably like 20+ years old. full service including replacement many parts, etc. the cost? 1+k. my dad say ridiculous as watch is only 1+k when he bought.

i wanted to get a Lange couple of months back. my SE ask me you sure? servicing cost each time go in is min 2-3k, i said wow. but paused a moment. the watch cost about 20+K. 2-3k is like 10% of cost. lets not talk about replacement cost yet.

so i said to many people. buy rolex. servicing can be done easily outside RSC. cost of servicing is also lower. eh. isn't this what one of my shifu thought me? he told me buy basic model can already. dont need buy those complication and expensive one. easy to service also.

bezel - slightly worn due to humid weather in sg.
pushers - they told me that the color will not be right with new bezel
dial - becoz they have spares? (mine is still as good as new)

do you really need to change all 3 @ the same time?

                sometimes, i prioritize my repair.

i believe pushers is an optional item...

the servicing cost is like that for AP....pretty standard...that's the price we pay to maintain top brand watches...

Is it normal for the rubber bezel to be worn after a few years? Dun mind sharing how old is yours? Just got a new one and may have to consider the long term cost of owning a rubber clad if the bezel needs to be replaced often.

yes it's common for rubber bezel worn off after a while and they get dents easily as well...

that is y steel bezel with bracelet is still better just polished can liao ! but then again to polish an ap also take skills..........

but i must say it is still a very handsome watch with a good resale value !

u dun have to do all that is suggested by them just change the bezel or do it only when u need to sell lah !
