    i think all retailers the same, peak period short of staff, thn less service, but personally, i think HG nothing special lah, for a retailer tht sells ex. items, eg, average per receipt very high 1 compare to other retailing trade, service should be better, more seats, bring tea/ kopi etc. more personal, eg, retain cutsomer loyalty etc... but of cos there's more jia lark 1 lah. some AD u go, ask got discount, tell u dont hv; ask them whn got stock, dunno etc etc. lousy service

    tokin to lousy AD, can learn lesson mah .... so when i walk into AD .... i remind myself.

    1. One watch is a necessity, many watches not... so happy buy, not happy, dont buy ... hahaa
    2. Friend always tell me .... not that u dont hv any watches ... wht's the hurry, wait lah... so no stock or price high, wait loh, dont buy, or buy other brand.

      different AD has different setup for various branches. some AD in chinatown u go in, also no offer you drink. i think it depends on which AD and which branch you go and which period of time you go. think when u not regular @ AD, they serve you standing while viewing watch. happened to me @ several AD. not just those dealing with rolex only. human relationship is a funny thing. some people will take to u, others wont. there was a AD i visit in orchard area, visited them to enquire about panerai, like what pet mentioned, they not interested to serve you. give you that kind of attitude.

      customer A who goes to AD may get royal treatment, customer B who goes to same AD might get otherwise treatment. so be brave and visit them and see who attends to you and try to build a relationship with them. then again,

                If I can get 40% for Rolex, I will buy a whole bunch and re-sell them.

                I guess the discount for Rolex depends on the availability of the model. When I bought my SD all the other shops offered me 10% at best but THG gave me 10 + 3. Don't know why but I end up buying most of my watches from them. Six so far.
