Now give us a FR on the antenna issue when you get to the UK. I want to see how severe the antennagate issue really is. In perth on certain providers, the phone is close to unusable.

if you are on mac, its a piece of cake. just download the software iRingtunesX and it will do everything for you. all you need to do is tell it where to start and stop.
if you are on windows, i believe you can try this. alternatively, you will have to find a software similar to iringtunesx to do the job for you. and if you are desperate enough; just get someone who owns a mac

i dont think ive ever used the stock ringtone *ever*, oh, and without jb'ing too

Didnt work for me? I think apple closed the loophole for those on the latest itunes. YMMV

i still found myself jumping onto edge or gprs quite often when i was using my iphone in sg.

interesting.... i held the corner of the demo phone. dropped 2 bars at first, then 3 bars, eventually, it dropped to 0 bars. (Note: im in the CBD).

Another incident, I went to apple store in perth; tested on the demo iphones there, same deal. tried on my friend's iphone 4, also same. in the last instance, it was worse, because the network was clumsy enough, made worse by the hardware.

Hmmm. Then it's rather funny. Cos I spoke to at least 5 friends and they all dun experience in drop reception when held in that particular 'death grip'
