  • Buying a watch internationally and getting it shipped

Has anybody done this for expensive watches? I want to get an Panerai from one of the ADs in Europe because the value of the Euro has depreciated. Are there risks involved? Is there insurance for such purchases and are they special companies which do such type of shipping?

    Thanks

Bro I did from a known "good guy" seller from HK. Would NOT recommend the experience. My strong suggestion is work with one of the well-known Pam resellers here to buy the watch for you for a simple commission. They have the stomach & experience for it!

I would say that it's best for you to know the dealer first. Check out about paperworks, etc.

For payment, TT will work best.

You mentioned that it is an AD in Europe. Check it with Richemont Service Centre/on Panerai official website.

Ask for pictures of the actual watch.

Shipping is low risk but it's best to have it insured.

Lastly, you have to pay for GST
