I'm going to the US on Monday...still deciding between the WIFI or the 3G version to buy. Wonder if it would be cheaper to get in US or wait till the launch in Singapore in July.--------------------

I tried on the iPad when I was in Vegas and San Francisco last week.
It is not just an oversize iPod touch.
It can edit photographs
Can create .doc and .xls files
With these capabilities.. it saves me a lot of weight when traveling.
Down part:
it requires internet support heavily. 3G can be too expensive to travel overseas.
