I wont spend >100 on a t-shirt/polo tee
I wont spend >250 on a pair of shoes
I wont spend >10 bucks on iphone apps

such as tailored clothing, i will buy. branded i will not.
shoes - as cheap and decent as possible. my current pair only cost me $25 got steel cap summore
car servicing - if can DIY, i will DIY, otherwise bo pian become carrot.

Good to get sensing of what our priorities are. I know of some people who would not spend more than $20 on clothes, but did not mind $100 on a meal ! A relative of mine owns 2 private houses, and a condominium unit but owns and drives 2 pre-own Korean cars !! A friend who owns and drives 2 branded conti cars but buys and wears fake watches regularly !!

Sometimes you just find these people weird but come to think of it, when you bear to spend thousands of dollars on a watch, who is calling who weird now.

Well, for me, definitely won't spend too much on car in Singapore.
Not rich and can't justify spending on a nice car just to use it for only 10 years, so just a simple mover will do.
I can justify spending on watches and branded accessories like a good wallet, bags and shoes that are more endearing and enduring.
Won't spend too much on high end clothes because size and fashion will always fluctuate, so I target the low-mid range. Used to buy G2000 and now Gap clothes, so not more than $100 for a shirt or kena curry stain sure cry...
