Oh! I sold my G9 for an IXUS 870IS as the compact is used by my wife most of the time and she complained about the weight....

i had a s45 from canon last time. sold it cause of the weight. then got a fuji one. like cannot make it. or am i expecting too much. sold the fuji one also
i have been a canon user for many years already. started with the film eos. then to 350D which i regretted selling.
now looking to get one for wife to use. preferably something small and take good pictures. the LX series seems the choice. but not sure if i want to get one with GPS function. maybe forgo now since there is no intention to go overseas within next 2-3 years.
