    Hi Peter,
I guess I misread your first post.

If indeed the Laco pieces can be acquired at the same price as Laco shop from you in Singapore including servicing done in Singapore, then that's an assured competitive advantage for you.

The pragmatic collector in me applauds Laco for lowering their prices to appeal to the budget conscious while capitalizing on their heritage.

For normal folk like me and many of us here, I'm sure lower prices are always welcome and many bros will support!

Hey no worries at all. Yes you will be able to acquire LACO timepieces through my company at the same price as Laco shop (may differ a little in discount policies for those limited edition models).

The services during warranty will be handled by LACO directly but those bros who bought ETA mechnical models will not have to worry about shipping and coordinations as it will be taken care of already :-). For models with other movements, it will be handled with some charges eg shipping.

Yes I am definitely looking forward to support from all bros who loved German watches especially LACO. I am operating online www.de-timekeeper.com and also you guys are welcome to join my facebook page www.facebook.com/germantimekeeper. See you around, cheers!

Might as well go for both as they're quite affordable but Type A is more iconic if you really have to choose one although many other brands produce Type A dial variants as well.
I find myself wearing Type A dial alot more often than B.

I may end up buying both eventually but may buy 1 first to try and if I like it then buy the other type ... I'll probably go with type A first then wear it fir a while and if after few months go for type B ...
Any views on colour of strap that goes better with type A? Brown colour more contrast but black is perhaps more formal and more versatile ... Mmm

This may sound silly but if you're already contemplating buying both, why not get one with brown and the other with black strap? : )

i don't think the price is the same. Buy direct from Laco online much cheaper. After you registered with Laco online, you can save 19%. eg. for this model https://shop.laco.de/en/pilot-watche...omatic-36.html normal price is Euro 490, after registered as member then Euro 411.76 (free shipping). You save Euro 78.24 x 1.75 = S$136.92. I think with this saving can ship at least 6 times by registered mail ( recently i shipped my watch to stowa cost me S$20.10) to Germany for repair if something wrong with your watch. If nothing happen with your watch during warranty period then this Saving can use for future repair cost after warranty period

                            Bro Champagne,
The one on your avatar is really nice!

Hmm, looks like there are 2 different casings used by the original 5 watchmakers. I've seen Lange & Sohne Type Bs use the same casing as Laco's 55mm while Type As that I've seen from IWC catalogues seem to resemble your avatar pic (is it an IWC?) and the current Stowa casing.

Maybe an expert bro could be able to verify! : )
