Haha...the miyota very noisy or not? seem like everybody suggest no date. The lume good?

The rotor will be a tad noiser than eta 2824-2 and the lume is average...mayb u can try to PM Bro Pilotsnoopy as i remember he owned the miyota version b4....

Bro CK80! I have this exact Miyota type A model on brown strap, lume is quite fine.
The wait could be quite long and I am considering selling this to make way for a larger version : p

the lume is almost non-existent after a few mins without light...

thats reason why I sold it...and then bought the WUS Laco forum B-uhr...

the lume is great on this but i realized not that much of an issue anymore...and i do miss my miyota Laco...thinking of getting it again...

just saw this advice. but i am not sure why do you want to buy from someone overseas when you can have a company here to run all the show for you and with no price difference? image if something failed, you have someone to fall back to locally. Just curious on the suggestion and hope did not offend anyone :-)

It's very reasonably priced from Laco shop compared to buying locally and their pieces should be reliable without having to depend on warranty. Should the watch eventually need servicing, one can still find many servicers in Singapore for Miyota or ETA movements.

I second that! No offence to Steinhart but Laco is still one of the original five. Aestethically, their smaller versions still look more true to the original design compared to other manufacturers. To me, the movement doesn't really matter all that much if the price is reasonable.
