Under Singapore hot weather. Any Turbo-Charged Engine is not good to run here, as it may damage very soon.

Heard from a few friends driving the 335i that it is ok unless you boost up the power - something about the intercooler not being able to handle the additional heat from the boosted engine. But I believe for not very much, the stock power is up from 306bhp to 400+bhp and the torque increase is insane too....

But so far, all I hear are good things about the N54 engine

yeah, you do need to get the bigger engine. The 550 is amazing.

Get a 335 and enough change for a PP 5980. Both of both worlds.

I agreed. BMW is a driver's car but not for passenger, have feedback they feel uncomfortable sitting.

Meanwhile, I just faced the oil leak problem. Lucky under warranty.

How about a used 523 up to 5 years old?

                                Is it a good buy?

                                Thanks
